Grit and Time Management are the two major things I’ve learned in the first week of the #75HardChallenge by Andy Frisella.

Grit:

It’s not easy to wake up at 5AM everyday, especially if you wake up sore, stiff, tiered, whatever, you still have to get it done. On Day two I woke up with a migraine. Day three I was sore and my knees hurt. Day four I exhausted. But on day five I didn’t even think about it. I had already made the choice to get it done. Pushing through the tough mental excuses and just starting made all the difference.

Time Management:

It takes me roughly 2:15:00 to finish all the tasks. The end of day deadline and accountability app have completely structured my daily focus. In order for me to get everything done, I have to wake up at 5AM and be completely focused until 9PM.

This type of focus has opened my eyes to what real time management is. From the morning, to my day job, to after work hustle, every part of my day is planned with purpose. I can’t say I’ve ever been this organized with my time.

Ask yourself This:

What I am supposed to be doing RIGHT NOW? Grab your cell and look at your calendar. If you’re like most people, there isn’t anything on your calendar. Just the regular work stuff and random invite here and there.

Today, my daily calendar is (almost) completely organized from 5am until 10pm at night. I know what I need to do and when I need to do it. I don’t always do it perfect, but it’s a nice map to refer to hourly. I have never been this organized. Let me rephrase, I have never been this honest with my time.

Weight Update.

Dropped 10 lbs in the first week of challenge and 2% body fat. (according to fitindex app/scale)
